Our Boxer unfortunately has Degenerative Mylopathy. I had tired another pair of boots, but they were slipping around and not staying in place. After telling my family what I think needed to be invented, I found them!! They work great for him and give him the traction he needs to stabilize his hind legs. The padding and the double straps help keep them in place, and if they do twist, the same rubber is on the top. Excellent boots for our Sammy.

These are well made, probably long lasting boots. Once on they are secure. It is difficult to get the paw into the boot. A little elasticity at the opening would help with this. As is, it takes some time to squeeze my big dog paws in their.

I am so happy to find these and love that this site has a page dedicated to which boots will actually fit a Dane. We bought these for light dragging, which was causing ripped nails, and so far so good. At some point we may have to go for something more rubberized at the toe, but at this stage, these are perfect. I didn’t think he’d go for them, but he doesn’t seem to care.

I have an old man 150# Great Dane who drags his back feet. Got stubbed toes that wouldn't heal because of it and finally had to stop our daily walks. Tried booties before and they were crazy small. Then we tried these... what a huge difference! The XL fit his elephant feet and don't slip off. They must be comfortable because he doesn't mess with them. Our first walk out with these on he had a pep in his step and it was noticeable. I can't believe how much he's dragging his feet... it's very audible now with the boots. Fingers crossed they hold up but even if he wears them out we'll definitely buy them again.

...my 150 lb. Bernese Mt Dog/Great Pyrenees took the biggest size, but because he has the big wonky double dew claws on his rear legs, I could not get the boots over them. So I cut along the seam on both sides with a scissors and got them on that way, then strapped them tight with the velcro straps. They are working well. If anyone else finds themselves in my situation, this modification has worked very well. They are helping him rise from hardwood that he could no longer do because of his DM. Great boot.

We are using boots on both hind legs, now, Unfortunately, Jasper has DM and this boot style is then only one that does not get dragged off. Delivered in good time. Thanks.

Dog boots and shoe goo	November 5, 2021

I bought the 2 together because of the way my dog walks and rips through paw wear, on concrete surfaces. I applied the goo to the front and back on the black rubber on the boot. Yesterday we went for a walk and the boot held up great. He drags one rear paw so that if it is not protected well he gets open sores on the top of his paw.
The boot fits well even with his paw deformity.

I have an Australian shepherd that is very active. We went camping and he was in and out of the river all day and these boots stayed on perfectly. He was running, swimming in the river, and jumping off rocks into the water. It saved his nails since the rocks grind them down so quickly. Very fast shipping as well.
