If you are going to buy these boots for your pet, add the shoe goo and use a little elbow grease. The protective coating will allow the threads to last longer and prevent the rough asphalt from tearing into the fabric.
My dog loves these boots and the coating stands up to her abuse. (she loves to run!)

I bought these boots for my 11 year old Yorkie.  She adjusted to them very easily.  The only problem I see is that the toes on 2 of the boots are beginning to wear already. Not sure if they are the front or back and she must drag her toes.  Had to order xxxsmall to fit her and it was a good fit.  Being her first  boots, I feel they are doing the job.  They do keep her feet dry and the pads on her feet as well.  Am anxious to see how they work in the snow.

Hello.  It was worth a try, but because of the skin dermatitis condition and joint swelling (arthritis) in my dog's foot, these boots do not work for her.  I tried it on her sore foot and found it too stiff to keep on her foot (too painful to toe and wrist joints).  However, I donated this new set of dog boots to the Humane Society of Southern Arizona Thrift Store, so someone's pet will benefit from their use.
