I got two pair of these a few years ago for my bigger girls who are no longer with me. They protected their feet in the hot summers.
I have since moved to a very small town with not a lot of sidewalks or parks to play, so we go to local schools to play ball. One of them has a running track, and the texture is especially rough and started ripping up my Sammy's front feet (he runs HARD). So I decided to order him the same shoes I got my girls in the past. I used the measuring chart provided and he was between two sizes so I went with smaller one so it'd fit a big snugger. However, they kept falling off when he ran, so I had to order the next size up. So if you're finding your dog inbetween, I'd say go with the larger one, because their nails make up the difference. My boy's feet are now protected!  Thank you

Murphy has taken to his new shoes with no reservations, still does his macho four paw kicks after marking bushes and trees. Keeps those little paws from frying in the Texas heat.
