Couldn't ask for a better looking and functional boot that fits well. My dog had no problem wearing them from day one.

if your dogs feet are not almost the exact size of the boots these will not work for you. the difference between the sizes in these is bigger than in other brands. my golden retriever is on the smaller end of large, but too big for a medium. they were too big for him to walk easily and he kicked them off

A++ Pawtrexx by Barko Booties |

Ordering was a breeze and the product shipped quickly. I bought these boots for my Boston Terrier (Bella). The regular fleece booties you see everywhere don't have any traction and soak up water, making my dog slip in the sloppy Minnesota winter weather, as well as making her feet cold and wet. The Barko Booties are a little tough to get on, but once on, they really protect her feet and give her traction on the snow and ice. They keep her feet nice and dry which allows us to stay outside and take longer walks.

Not Perfect But Pretty Good |

Overall, I was very happy with the booties. I got them for my golden to go hiking in the snow. I liked that these boots had rubber soles that reach back behind the pad. Other boots that I've seen only have a rubber pad that is round and the dog can easily step off the pad. I also like that they come up a little higher than other boots to keep the snow out and help them stay on. They fastened pretty well onto my dog's legs once I figured out how tight to make them. They didn't fall off. However, when I put them on tight enough, I had a lot of extra strap. I would have prefered a strap that could velcro the entire length of it so they don't flap around and can get caught on things. Also, my dog's rear feet are smaller than her front feet so the front boots fit fantasically but she had some room in the hind feet. Maybe they can sell 2 packs instead of 4 packs. Regardless, the website made it very easy to fit her with the printout of sizes they offer.
